Walking the Earth Field Trip is a chance to visit one of Kuwait’s most fascinating natural landscapes to create environmental sculptures as part of an art installation.
Join us to tour Failaka Island on a unique nature walk to discover the varied topography of the island, and to create sculptured figurines out of clay and seeds, that will grow into living plants. Learn how to sculpt, how to up-cycle and reuse materials found onsite and recreate waste into something once again alive. Observe the beauty around you, capture it, create within it, and give back to it. That’s the heart of this weekend getaway to one of Kuwait’s most important historic sites.!
